About SD Paraplanning Services

 

SD Paraplanning Services was established in 2022 with a simple aim: to provide financial advisers with reliable, high-quality paraplanning support that fits seamlessly into their existing advice process.

Since then, the business has grown through a combination of long-standing client relationships, recommendations and referrals.

We work with financial advisers and advice firms across the UK, providing support across a range of pension, investment and financial planning cases.  

Based on the beautiful North Norfolk coast, we provide paraplanning support to financial planning firms across England and Scotland.

Sophie Denton BSc(Hons) DipPFS Cert CII (MP & ER)

Sophie is Director of SD Paraplanning Services.

She started her career with a degree in Forensic Science before moving into personal finance in 2011. Almost 10 years ago, she moved into working with financial planning firms, where she has built up a wealth of knowledge and experience across a wide range of cases.

Since then, she has obtained her Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, as well as certificates in Mortgage Advice and Equity Release. She is currently working towards Chartered status and enjoys continuing to develop her knowledge.

Outside of work, Sophie enjoys reading an unhealthy amount, going to concerts and watching international football.

Niall O'Sullivan DipPFS

 Niall spent the majority of his early career fixing helicopters in the Royal Navy. After leaving, a nudge from his wife to follow a new passion led him into Financial Services. He quickly earned his Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and stepped straight into paraplanning. Now working towards Chartered status, Niall spends his spare time with his family, playing football, and eating copious amounts of pizza.
